From Unproven Ground to Documented Tonnage

Inland Drills Nigeria Ltd runs the full chain: we prove the geology, drill it, work it, process it and move it. Every stage is carried out under the titles and permits it requires, and recorded so that the paperwork stands up long after the material has gone.

Exploration and Geological Survey

Most Nigerian ground is bought and sold on rumour. We start by measuring it instead. Mapping, geochemical sampling and systematic core logging turn a story about a deposit into a data set that an investor, a lender or a regulator can actually rely on. Nothing is committed to production until the geology says it is worth committing.

Exploration and Production Drilling

Reverse circulation and diamond core drilling, run by our own crews on our own rigs. Every metre is logged, sampled and recorded against its collar position, so the result is a documented hole rather than a pile of chippings. We drill for third party title holders as a contract service as well as on our own ground.

Extraction and Processing

Drilling and blasting, loading, crushing, screening and grading, carried out on site. Material is separated and prepared to a specification a buyer can hold us to, with weights and grades recorded at every stage rather than estimated at the gate. Where a deposit warrants it, we upgrade the concentrate on site instead of shipping waste rock.

Haulage and Delivery

Getting product off a remote site and to a buyer is where most Nigerian mineral deals quietly lose money. We move material under the transport permits its class requires, with recorded weights at both ends, so the tonnage that leaves the pit is the tonnage that arrives. Delivery to domestic buyers, to processors, or to the export point.

Compliance, Community and Rehabilitation

Titles, permits and renewals are tracked as a standing job, not remembered when an inspector arrives. Host communities are engaged before equipment moves, with access and compensation agreed at the front of a project. Site rehabilitation is costed into the job from day one, because the alternative is the abandoned, unreclaimed ground Nigeria already has too much of.

The Ground We Work

Nigeria's solid minerals sector is small relative to what is under the ground, and it is being formalised quickly. The figures below are national, published by the Federal Government and the Solid Minerals Development Fund.

44+

minerals identified in commercial quantities across Nigeria

500+

locations where those minerals occur

₦354bn

solid mineral exports recorded in 2025

3%

federal target for the sector’s share of GDP by 2030, from under 1% today
